+The PunkSurfer The fact that it's "totally new" doesn't make it better. New is not always better. Dirt tracks don't just make it "more challenging", they completely destroy trucks as all they offer is huge air. Huge air is great but if that's all you got, aside from backflips, all it's gonna do in the end is break trucks. And also, what's the point of all of that if the show becomes boring as heck? Your point would be understandable if it made the changes made the show more interesting, but changing the track to nothing but a bunch of dirt is so disgustingly boring and defeats the whole purpose of monster trucks, which is to crush cars. Car crushing is what sets monster trucks apart from any other sport. There is nothing special or unique about trucks jumping dirt. I don't care how much "harder" it is or how more challenging dirt is, the whole point is to entertain the crowd, which dirt-only tracks fail to do. Watching them flatten out cars and plow through motorhomes is way more exciting, with dirt all they do is jump the same ramps over and over again and flatten the pile until it looks like an unattractive pile of...well...dirt.

There is a rumor floating around that they ditched cars because they cut the BKT tires too easily. If that is the case, I don't see why they don't just go with a different tire company. Or have BKT make them tougher tires. For heavens sake, BKT specialize in heavy duty agricultural, construction, and other heavy equipment tires. There should be no reason that they can't make a tire tough enough to handle going over cars. But who knows, Monster Jam haven't given an explanation for it and it doesn't look like we're going back to cars any time soon. All we can do is speculate.
