And don’t get me started on when you get intercepted it feels like everything just bugs out. I think I have some clips on madden 21 and 22. I was just terrible pursuit angles, and the way the quarterback runs. Not to mention how everyone on offense just becomes un athletic

I’m a 61 year old gamer buying EA sports games since the beginning especially Madden they could care less bringing out the same game basically the last few years and fazing out the updates for PS4 some older gamers are on fixed incomes and can’t afford the PS5 for now SHAME on you EA . EA sports has proven throughout the years they’re in capable of a simulation style football game, they claim simulation, but everything about it screams arcade… The way the players move react run, and throw. Basically madden has become an arcade style game with a false premise of simulation football.

I hope with this risk reward system takes in account the ability of the DB. If you have a DB say live Revis, the margin of error is greater, because of his ability. Kinda like shooting a FT with Curry compared to Shaq. The meter for Shaq moves really fast, which makes your margin off error great, and even if you get it, there is still a chance you could miss because he is so bad at FT, whereas with Curry it moves really slow and if you are off, he still may hit it because of his ability. Because if a person figures out the timing they could possible be making interception with DB's that have stone hands. I hope there is a risk reward with rb and receivers too, maybe even QBs, risk a hit or sliding instead. Maybe just for any position the player controls.

I believe live Revis should play better than dead Revis. All kidding aside, this would be a perfect thing to base AWARENESS off of or a combination of awareness and play recognition. I would also hate for it to be linked to a pop up timing window. It would be something the user also has to figure out over time. The thing with the timing for shots is that once you got used to them, you'd never miss. Even the greatest to ever play on the field failed. "Failure is an option." ~ Adam Savage.

I don't mind superstar abilities and x factors, I just hate how Madden did it. If they continue to do that, they need to be more like NBA 2k in that regard. There's no max abilities a player can have, and it helps the player play more like the real life player. There are also 4 tiers to all skills, and as we all know, "there's levels to this". So a wr may have more than the allowed two skills. Maybe they're good sidelining catching at every level (three skills in itself) and also have the ability to have steerable juke moves. This is not possible in Madden, but NBA 2k's way they could have all those and would be tiered correctly.

I guarentee maximum football will be a funner game to play with rankings and custmization but i guarentee madden will have better gameplay maximum wont have field sence and as tedious and unrealistic it may seem to a lot of users it will still be a better experience for most players bigger budget better gameplay dont get me wrong maximum will be a great game but when ncaa drops next year nobody will play it people will get their college fit this year until ncaa comes out next year

- I will play this game no matter what and give it a chance because it will be free to play. I don't have anything to lose. - Words don't mean a thing to me. I want to see it on the field. - Does it bother anyone else that they are highlighting a new running animation, and there is choppiness/stuttering to it? - risk/reward: awesome, just like in the real game. If you jump the route there is a chance you miss the play and leave a receiver wide open with no safety valve. Do you play aggressive or conservative? Game time and situation may dictate this as well. At least give you the option. There should be risk/reward on offense as well.

I am very much looking forward to this game... having the NFL, College, and CFL style rules/gameplay is quite exciting for me. I always thought the College Football EA made was better than Madden (though it had the NFL backing, so of course, it's "better"). I just hope they have the identities to where we can figure out who these teams are without a whole lot of guessing...

For the many people who's only excuse to hate on Ryan is bc of the overhyping of maximum football, I completely understand and honestly agree. However, this year is different. Maximum football looks like a true alternative to football gaming now. (Alternative does not mean comparable to any means. But it's definitely a real alternative now with the strides they took for graphics and gameplay, Ryan does deserve hate this year for it)
