Thanks for watching guys, this transition is used a lot of different videos. Even though its used a lot the cool thing about this is there's a lot of different things you can change to make it unique. In this video I'll show you two ways to make a freeze frame transition, inspired by the Playboi Carti Magnolia music video Directed by AWGE.

One of the things I love going through your videos, is that I've done my own versions of the magnolia effect, but did it in AE with rotoing out 5-10 frames, altogether takes maybe 10 minutes to get clean, and then you show me a way to crank it out in 60 seconds with the same cleanness and impact. If anyone has the same problem, right click the clip, under frame hold options, make sure you have both "hold on" and "hold filters" checked!
