My dad introduced me to songs like this in the 80s. Even though this is a cover by Maxi, it was so good that most people still think it's the original. Kudos to Cat Stevens for giving us this classic.

Now that I've lost everything to you You say you want to start something new And it's breaking my heart you're leaving Baby I'm grieving But if you want to leave take good care Hope you find a lot of nice things to wear But then a lot of nice things turn bad Out there Oh baby baby it's a wild world It's hard to get by just upon a smile Oh baby baby it's a wild world I'll always remember you like a child girl You know I've seen a lot of what the world can do And it's breaking my heart in two Because I never want to see you sad girl Don't be a bad girl But if you want to leave take good care Hope you find a lot of nice friends out there Just remember there's a lot of bad air Beware Oh baby baby it's a wild world It's hard to get by just upon a smile Oh baby baby…

I remember I didn’t understand my boyfriend due to the constant fights, so I decided to leave the relationship, he just looked at me and told me, I could leave if I wanted to but, I should try and understand him cos he did love me but, if I want to leave he wishes me well. And he asked me to listen to this song every morning. After listening to it, I reconsidered my decision cos Nowhere cool❤❤❤❤❤

I lost my grand uncle today. This song reminded me of him because he loved his daughter (my aunt) so very much and was always afraid of whether she’d be taken care of once he and his wife are gone (since she has a mental disability due to a birth defect). Up until now I didn’t care that he was suffering or whether he died because every time I’d go to his house he would act rude or pass sarcastic remarks. Until i remembered that one day he gave me a box of vintage chess pieces. I felt so guilty, sad and heartbroken. This actually made me want to become a better person and made the decision to one day be my Aunt’s guardian if needed.
