I remember people whining that there weren’t enough variations and attachments for the weapons in BF1, but it’s one of the lesser highlighted reasons the game has remained popular and accessible to new players. 2042 has far too many attachment variations with the plus system which makes it hard to learn the best setup for a weapon. In BF1 you can pick a weapon and learn it. There’s no messing around with needless attachments.

I sincerely hope they will learn from the current numbers of players the game has. They've done just so many great things there. Having a massive amount of maps, decent number of weapons, easy to learn gameplay and just an amazing feeling. This game, a little modernized, with new maps and they'd make a fantastic game

On the Xbox one currently I can find about 12-18 games where there’s a 1 man wait list or able to join right away. Also people constantly leave and join so that is no issue. Soon I’ll be buying the next gen and taking this game along with me and for 15$ in market place for all dlc as well just was a steal.

i just startet playing again and after 2042 god damn this game is a billion times better than bf2042. The game runs so smooth on my computer over 120fps on max settings and bf2042 barley runs at 80 and doesnt look better. The gunplay is just awesome wont stop playing that title for now

I started with bf1 a week ago or so. After years of break. But there are still some major bugs which existed already when the game was launched. Like fire/gas go through everything, tanks can kill you behind objects/ in buildings, spawns are often bs (next to enemies), autoteam balance is completely useless etc. Other than that ; nice game

hum there were no hand-held (mobile) machine guns in ww1...... soldiers used single shot rifles back then, the only machine guns were stationary heavy guns, like gatling.

absolutely wrong, many of the automatic weapons in BF1 were actually used in WWI (BAR, Chaucaut, Madsen, Parabellum, Villar Perosa, Benet-Mercie)
