I own one and I have a CHL so I wear it when I have my gun on me. Just in case any situation arises it will show that I was in the right in case I have to draw, or god forbid shoot. I think its a good investment for people that have Concealed Handgun Licenses. Battery is supposed to work for 12 hours, I leave it on while Im carrying just so I can hit record if needed very quickly. Shows time stamp and GPS. So far I'm happy with the purchase. Its just funny because people asking me if I'm wearing a body cam and then I explain to them why. Every person that has asked has said, man that's a good idea! I think so.

Does this camera have an option to record continuously until I turn it off or does it take up to 20 minutes only? Also can you set it to automatically go back 1-2 minutes of recording when you hit the record button?

@RPO6464 Yes, once you press the record, it will keep recording for whatever time you have it set for, looping the record time until you have stopped the recording

14 hours of battery life before having to recharge and 10 to 12 hours of battery life if you keep it on in loop recording

Depends on multiple settings, each of which can decrease battery life per recharge in a big way. These are features that can cause reduced battery life in the field. Choosing the proper setting can significantly increase the time the camera will keep operating in the field on a single charge: If recording at maximum resolution? Big battery drain compared to recording at lowest resolution. Recording with the "nightvision" 7 IR LEDs turned on manually, or IR LEDs=automatic and it's dark? Big battery drain. Recording with the LCD display "on"? A HUGE drain on the battery life. If using the "illumination LED" (the white LED)? More battery drain. If using the GPS="ON" setting? More battery drain. IF your camera has WiFi connectivity? If you're connected via WiFi? More battery drain. (ONLY on the newer model. Also, be careful when buying as even if a Seller's Product Page CLAIMS WiFi is a feature (twice), you may well still get shipped the older model that does NOT have WiFi). There is also a "Pilot Light" (the power-on LED) system setting on whether or not to enable it to stay "on" or not. The default is "on". Obviously, if that is set to stay on whenever the unit is powered on, that will also drain the battery...though not as significantly as some of the other settings. Personally, I set it to "off" because it paints a *_very bright target_* on your position at night. Bright LEDs can also bring extra unwanted attention to the fact you are wearing recording technology and an antagonist might then confront you and confiscate it, demand you "delete" recordings, etc. when they might have otherwise over-looked the camera. It _might_ also escalate tensions in an encounter as some people get VERY upset when they are reminded they are being recorded, even in public situations where there is no expectation of privacy. (edited to add a few more power-leeching features I forgot to mention earlier, and to include a caution about peoples' reactions when you allow the front-facing LEDs to be on while using the camera in the field)

If the issue is removing the time/date because it takes away pixels from the available screen of data, then there IS a setting in the "Video" menu section caled Datestamp. You can set it to "ON" or "OFF". If you set it to "OFF", It DOES SHOW on the display while the recording is being made, but it does NOT SHOW while it is playing back. (at least that is the case on the older model that does NOT come with WiFi feature (that is still shipping even when you bought the model that claims to have WiFi).

MINE ARRIVED WITH A DAMAGED VIEWING SCREEN. NO DAMAGE TO THE EXTERNAL OR INTERNAL BOX BUT CUSTOMER SERVICE TELLS ME TO COMPLAIN TO AMAZON AS IT WAS THEIR RESPONSIBILITY. DON'T SEE HOW THIS IS POSSIBLE WITHOUT SOME VISIBLE DAMAGE TO THE EXTERNAL OR INTERNAL BOX. SEEMS LIKE THEY REFUSE TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. IF IT IS SO FLIMSY THAT IT CANT' TAKE AMAZON HANDLING I DON'T WANT IT.

@MilitaryFusion Yes, connect the body cam to a laptop or PC 🖥 computer, and through the computer, you can open up body camera files and delete or move to save body cam files from the computer 🖥. Remember you can switch out memory cards for memory as well.

Dont looks like 4k, I have a Boblov 2k and the video quality in the small LCD screen looks the same as this video. Looks like many of this companies claims to have 4k cameras but they are not. Also you can find 2 or more cameras branded different and they are exactly the same like the Boblov HD66/D7 is the same as the CAMMHD V8-256GB 1440P, looks like all this products are generic cameras made in china rebranded and for sale in Amazon.

@@quannguyen9331 this one is okay in my opinion it gets the job done but takes a very long time to turn on an has burned me when I needed it most sometimes my interactions are spontaneous and I need something that powers on and records quick. I've switched and been using Aolbea model: P100 it is fantastic and the buttons are easy to access and long video storage and best of all great battery life

@@quannguyen9331 I tried to reply to you earlier in the week but I just now realized it did not send apparently. I have used this one for a bit I liked the video quality but the buttons are not easy to find, and it is not easy/reliable to get it on and recording when I need it, I work in Loss Prevention in a large grocery store an at anytime something can happen. I have been burned a few times when I needed it most because when we trespass and wrote our reports to the DA the video is paramount for anything should the theif try an take it to court. I have switched and been using the Aolbea body cam model no. p100 I believe it is, the Aolbea is very reliable with easy to access buttons, with colord led lights so you know exactly if you are recording video, or audio, easily take pictures and the biggest plus is it has a extraordinary battery life. The battery for this maxkey in the video is alright but auto shuts off an dies rather quickly. Usually just a few hours, my Aolbea body camera I swapped to will last me literally my whole shift (12+ hrs) hope this helped an you get a good body camera for your Duty's
