When I was in Saigon, thought of treating myself so I went to the buffet La Brasserie, thought the food was delicious.. though I was full by the end of the night but I do prefer street food cause not because its cheaper but I like how the street food vendors make the food on spot for you instead of the food already being prepared for you already and you can just pick whatever you want and grab a plate and go sit down and eat it.. anyway another great video brother, i love how you transition from English to Vietnamese and vice versa, your weath of knowledge about Vietnamese food is incredible

Ate there last November and I agree the lobsters felt very dry, the oysters and crabs where spot on, they had no duck only beef and lamb both which were over cooked, but at the price would go back just for the octopus outstanding and the service was good

What's "gloopy" soup again? ;) BTW, you're not watching your weight if you are eating at a buffet. :) IMO, lunch was better. I'm not coming to VN for an American buffet, at an American price. I am a fan of Nikko restaurant, I am in love with black pepper lobster, and can find any 5 star buffet like that in HCMC, but the price currently 70$ I believe. However, lately, I know the Kingscross- Sonatus in district 1, the lobster is more juicy than in Nikko (although they dont have black pepper sauce, they place number 1 spot of lobster in my mind) and others dishes are good as well, almost half price of Nikko, you should try it oneday. ❤
