I had a local medical company come to my residence and had me test it in a wheelchair they brought. I loved it. I was also able to borrow one from a friend to go to Scarborough Fair. It worked perfectly. I could go uphill with no problem. and through grass, it was Awesome!!!!

the first time i tested the smartdrive i was going back into the building where I got my chair and i was using the smartdrive to go up the small incline i wasn't quite straight enough with the door and as i was going up i almost landed in the bush its funny now but i was really annoyed with myself that day after that

Yes, just purchased the SmartDrive and it's great. However, the watch is poorly designed. It's very hard to see in certain light conditions and the pushbuttons are a Nightmare for quadriplegics with hand difficulties. Please up your game.

I'm on my third defective watch. I thought it was me not being able to figure out this ridiculously unfriendly watch but I learned the second button has a KNOWN issue with sticking. $6000 for something I've been able to use once in an entire year.

Here's my problem: I managed to put the push tracker watch to sleep but then I turned it on again and when I double tapped to start it (I use the MX2+ mode), it didn't do anything. I know it was turned on because the screen showed "SD ON" which means it's on. Can an experienced user please help me?

The design, functionality, and quality of the Push Tracker is basically insulting and possibly dangerous compared with the otherwise terrific $6,500 Smart Drive. For a device responsible for controlling a powered, moving wheelchair for an already mobility-challenged person, the Tracker is surprisingly poorly implemented. It’s not an exaggeration that there are similar-category off-brand “Fitness Tracker” wrist devices with orders of magnitude better design, function, and build quality. Specifically: 1. Unreliable pairing 2. Thin, brittle, cheap plastic (probably polycarbonate) case design. This wrist device is meant to be used in a high-activity application on an arm that is repeatedly pushing and impacting a wheelchair wheel yet no metal or apparent impact resistance has been used. 3. Zero consideration to water or dust protection. I see no attempt to seal the device from water or dust. In fact, an unsealed opening in the case is used for an open charge connector. It is not unreasonable to expect that tracker will be used in at least damp and dusty locations. 4. Hard-to-press, unresponsive, and unintuitive buttons for activation, menu selection, and device settings. 5. I swear I hear a “mechanical” position switch that detects the “hits, pushes, and position. (I could be wrong, but shake the device-you can hear it) 6. Dim display unreadable in sunny conditions Existing technology exists (inexpensively) to address each of the issues: 1. Bluetooth/Near Field Communications solutions exist as single chip devices from multiple vendors-some better than others. 2. Case design should use at least a better material like “fiber reinforced nylon” and metal back. 3. Case needs to be sealed from debris intrusion and open charge jack eliminated. Even my $10 Casio is fully sealed and “water resistant.” Induction (wireless) charging modules are available in small, inexpensive modules. Wireless charging would also help those who have difficulty handling small objects. 4. Redesign or elimination of “press button switches.” Responsive, easy-to-press buttons have been around for decades in telephones, remote controls, etc. Touch control is also available and reliable. Protection from inadvertent presses is still easily achievable through physical design or software. 5. Solid-state accelerometers to detect “hits and pushes” exist as single-chip modules. If the tracker already uses this, it’s not implemented well. 6. Many types of displays from many vendors are producing easier-to-read screens. OLED, while good for color and resolution, may not be the best choice. Again, my $10 Casio lcd is readable in all light conditions. The tracker can and should be better-much better. It’s function is too important to be so poorly designed. My 2 cents.

HI Max Mobility. If I use a watch with another operating system ( not google wear) can I still use it ? For example if I get a galaxy watch that is android will this work with my smart drive ?
@haydens.99205 жыл бұрын
You guys should come up with a way to use Apple or Samsung smartwatches to control the SD. Not having to wear something on both wrists would be much appreciated. Have been working with a SD a lot lately and will be getting one of my own very soon.

U NEED TO MAKE THE PUSH TRACKER WATERPROOF (wristwatch)-I want to be able to use it as an activity monitor and wristwatch-it has the basic capacity to do this, but it isn’t like a Fitbit etc. THAT CAN GET WET-my OT said I have to cover it with gladwrap (plastic wrap) or put in my bag when it rains!!!

Very poor guide that was not user friendly and was of little help. The principle is great but the customer service, online assistance and examples shown on this video were poor.
