Like with basically every japanese holo card, they are insanely much better looking than the english counterpart. The layering is different and it's often much more vibrant. Like they can't even be compared sometimes. Japan just knows how to make the cards look a million times better than english.

I think the coolest thing I ever got from a loose pack was a Machamp V full art worth over a hundred bucks, I just went to the store to pick up a copy of Pokémon Black and thought some loose packs would be cool. I work in a toy store/card shop with my dad and when the scarlet/violet set came out we ordered a bunch of everything. Most of it we sell in store, but we did open some product ourselves. We did ETBs, booster boxes, and sleeved boosters. The ETBs had absolute dogshit in them, and the booster boxes were decent. But those sleeved boosters are where it's at. We opened one box of them, which is about 114 packs. We pulled 2 special art rare Miriam cards, 4 special art rare Miraidon ex, 3 special art rare Koraidon ex, and 1 special art rare Gardevoir ex. The sleeved boosters seem to have the best luck, so I would honestly just avoid buying the bigger products altogether for this set.
