@XrayDoc88 Maxpedition makes a CCW velcro holster you can use inside of the range bag. On Maxpeditions website look under accessories and you will see it Yes the rollypoly comes with the clip to attach it to a bag. You can also use the molle attachment system on the back of the rollypolly if you have a bag that accepts it.

@AlexanderWolf That would be ideal but the lubricant will not fit in the other zippered side pocket. If I could fit the lubricant in the other pocket I would swap them.

Very nice and helpful review! Can you tell me who makes a "velcro holster" for attaching guns to the inside of the main compartment? I didn't find anything from Maxpedition. Also, does that mini rollypoly come with a clip to attach to the outside nylon loop or do you have to buy something else for attachment? Thanks.

I dont know which one was made first but this is exactly the same as the 5.11 tactical, only difference is that the 5.11 is half the price, same quality though, great detail video!

It appears that the main compartment has hook and loop on the inside surface of the side walls. With the removable inner compartment, it doesn't appear that this serves any purpose other than giving you some flexibility if you wanted to use the separator for the main compartment instead of the removable one. Question: Is that removable compartment really helpful, or is it unnecessary? It seems like you would gain a bit of space if you removed it. The quality looks great, but I was wondering about that feature. Would also love to hear about any additional features that your "perfect" range bag would have. Thanks.

The grommet is smaller than a .22 casing so that is no chance that any brass will fall out.
