My high school had this really crazy basketball/baseball player come try out for varsity kind of just for fun and i swear he started slamming the ball on day one and he could ace the whole team in his first week. He’s now leading our conference with over a 60% kill rate and we’re #4 in the state (we were like #25 last year) some people are just natural born athletes

The training for both sports is similar, especially jump training. This guy already has a leg up on most new athletes having height, speed, and the understanding of the best way to handle the ball is to get his body behind it. Most basketball players transition well to volleyball.
