General Luna, the only general who wants peace, at the same time, wants freedom. We suffered enough from Spain. He was a very tough general. Because of our cabinet, and due to his seemingly harsh actions, which in the process, he gained many enemies and wants to take his life, like our first president, Andres Bonifacio, he was killed not while fighting the enemies, not in the hands of the foe, but was betrayed by the people they wanted to protect. Not a very honourable death for a brave and patriot soldier 😔 Man, I really wish I could turn back time twice! I seriously want to warn Andres Bonifacio and General Antonio Luna about their death 😶

Ayep your pretty much spot on. Though it was less the president itself, and more on the (some)cabinet members,officials, and influential families that wanted to "trade" with america. Though aside from the trade they were willing to surrender the country's sovereignty to the americans for more financial gain and power (this all happened directly after the spanish occupation and the beginning of the american occupation). though someone could probably correct me on this if im wrong XD also awesome reaction and thanks for having interest in the movie. Have u watch the movie?? Yes heroes die, that's the fact. But they fight for what is right. Like what he said freedom is not free, you need to fight for it. Every heroes of each country, they lay their lives not just for today also for the future. Because of that, take a look on this generation, the world is not perfect but at least they try to make our lives a bit better. I don't know if there is still someone like me who loves his country and ready to die for it.

He wants freedom, he fought for it. But his fellow officials care more about their money. He hated that, and also he is the General In Charge of war, so he is the general of all general. But his fellow generals won't follow his orders thats why you saw him pointing a gun at the head of the other guy. There is a Artikulo or Article tgat states that if you dont follow the order of the general in charge you'll be killed and stripped off of the rank. They wanted to replace General Luna so they manipulated the president by saying the bad things that General Luna have said and done (they didn't said anything good) that's why he wanted to make his own kind of government to better control the army which the president have agreed but when he came to the destination the president wasn't there and he got shot and stabbed many times thats why you can see him shouting TRAITOR he was assasinated by his fellow filipinos. At the end he said there is a bigger enemy than the americans, its ourselves he meant that our own kind. Sad

Emilio Aguinaldo is not a hero ! He is the one behind the killing of Head of Revolution named Andres Bonifacio, Antonio Luna and all the nameless who were been a part of the great revolution. Aguinaldo is very incompetent general same as his dog named General Gregorio del Pilar. They haven’t achieved anything and would always resort to celebrations even if the fight is not yet over. That kind of negative attitude is still existing today to most Filipinos. General Antonio Luna is the best general that the Philippines had. All the new uniforms and weapons came from his pocket. He sacrificed his profession, money for the revolution. Hia courage, patriotism and strategy are so superb that even the current generals today can’t match his.

For the entire story, since General Luna fighting for that freedom he also want to instill disciplinary measures. Just like providing new uniforms for the arm forces so the Americans cannot just underestimate them in war and be decent enough. Due to petty jealouses of people who are being subject to discipline of Gen. Luna they want to smash down Luna and especially people who wants this idea was the Filipino businessman at that time. And here comes the crafted idea whispered to President Aguinaldo telling that Gen. Luna planned to remove him in the position but it just to ruin the mind of the President Aguinaldo (otherwise conspiracy) for them to smash down Gen. Luna. That is why he asked "Business or Freedom, Country or Self,? Choose! " that's all Hehehe thanks
