Reliability and lower than claimed capacity make buying batteries hit or miss. You've found higher capacity batteries; thank you for reporting they've held up well, I'm going to buy some! We need to look at Watt-hours (Wh), a harder-to-fudge measure of actual energy available. Most of the aftermarket 6.0ah 40v batteries say 216Wh on the dataplate, including many that look identical to your Biswaye and Lasica, which both say 240Wh. I've seen many batteries sold as 6.0ah, 6.5ah and even 8.0ah which all say 240Wh, and not all sellers are brave enough to show the bottom label. Companies could rate a battery as 5.7ah at its maximum 4.2v/cell, 6.5ah at its average 3.7v/cell, 8.7ah at its 2.75v/cell safety cutoff voltage, or anywhere in between at some voltage under load; all of these add up to 240Wh. Higher rated batteries perform better, too; My OE Ryobi batts are rated 180Wh (older 5.0ah) and 72Wh (nearly new 2.0ah). The 2.0ah takes longer to spin my mower up to speed, bogs if pushed into tall grass, gets noticably hot, and has to cool at least a half hour before it will start to charge; the 5.0 does none of this. What is your 4ah Ryobi rated?

My 4.0 Ryobi 40v battery label states 146WH. Sorry for the long wait for this short reply. Thanks for watching. Max

i have a very old black and decker cordless 20v weedeater and blower, came with 2 amp hr batterys. several years ago i bought 2 of the bisway replacement 20volt but 4 amp hr, and an adapter to use in my much older work light and drill and skill saw set. they have worked flawlessly all these years now. and at times i forget to charge them back up right away. now im getting ready to buy this for my brothers tool set. these battery's are great, the adapter was to use on my 18v tools, it made them work better than new. and for those of you that know all these mathematical ways of telling it one battery is better than the other etc, i decide on how well my tools work and how long they work, i could give a shit about numbers.

I'm very happy you've received the same service from your Biswaye batteries that I have. I'll forward your comment to the factory, I'm sure they'll be happy to hear your feedback.

If the battery starts to weaken after 20 recharges, not so good. If it bursts into flames, really bad....

What are you referring to? After four years of hard use and abuse, I've never had a failure with Biswaye or Lasica batteries. I've lose a few Milwaukee, Ryobi, B&D and a bunch of Craftsman lithium batteries over the years. Never any of the Biswaye - Lasica lithium have ever left the building. Again, what are you referring to? Thanks for watching.

Why this battery needs to be reseted every now and then
@MaxsGarajMahal
@MaxsGarajMahal 4 ай бұрын
If that is happening, your charger isn't putting a full charge in the cells such as not balancing the cells. Pop it apart, check the individual cells to see how close each cell is to the others for their charge level. With the case off, recharge the battery and periodically check the cells to see if they're balancing out. If not, you can make a balancing plug to use in a RC battery charger that will then take high charged cells, move the charge from them to the low charged cells and continue to do that until the battery is fully charged evenly again. That will last you for quite a long time more than likely or you can simply charge via that RC battery charger. Hope that helps. By the way, have you checked the connections for corrosion? Hope you subscribed, liked and hit the notification bell. It would greatly help me out. Thanks for watching.

Just thought I'd point out that you are comparing two "chinese" 6 amp hour batteries to a Ryobi 4 amp hour battery, so I would expect them to last 50% longer (6Ah vs 4Ah) assuming their specs are true and the Ryobi battery cells havent degraded over your ownership.

Actually they do last even longer than 50% longer. Thanks for watching.

@@MaxsGarajMahal A better explanation is that your Ryobi 4Ah battery has degraded. There are many reviews of these Chinese aftermarket batteries and they dont even come close to their advertised capacity. Enjoyed your video though! Keep em coming!

@@stephenvieira7765 Sorry, that battery was like that since new and was almost new at the time of the video making. By the way, you are aware that no US manufacturer makes their own batteries? If not, let me introduce you to one of the three companies that manufacturers for over 30 brands around the globe. Now, considering there are no battery manufacturers of lithium batteries outside of China, how then can you explain the Ryobi, Milwaukee, DeWalt - B&D, etc. are better than Biswaye - Lasica considering a true higher value Samsung or LG 18650 are used in their brand than the subcontracted name brands? Asking for a friend, lol Thanks for watching.

@@MaxsGarajMahal Again, I would suggest an apples to apples comparison and then make a conclusion. For example, test run times between a Ryobi 6Ah battery (not 4Ah) to those aftermarket 6Ah batteries you have. There are many teardown videos and comparisons online and they do not compare favorably as you have described, despite the fact that your comparing apples to oranges in stated capacity.

@@stephenvieira7765 By the way, the Ryobi 4aH were less than two charges from new. I've used the Biswaye and Lasica exclusively since this video without one failure after hard use and abuse. I've been loaning them out to get them cycled much more than I can do on my own. They are what they advertise. Just a quick update.
