You guys have no idea how famous he was here in Chile and latin america. Girls would literally "pass out" in each concert THAT is how good he was. Ambulance was ready each concert. The guy not only had a good voice, he was pure love, that's why he sounded so good. He in fact, until some time ago, was our best kept secret, as latin americans he is a treasure to us.

LM has come a lot of times to viña Del Mar festival, the first one was in 1986 so I think that’s the reason he didn’t interact that much with the public, that was his first time, he really didn’t know how popular he was here , also I guess he was very exciting about it because at that time the festival was a very import stage for the artists.

The Festival of Viña del Mar doesn't allow playback, so the singers sing live. That 1986 performance is sad to watch. The last time he saw his mother was in an airport in Spain where he took the plane to Chile for this edition of the festival. It seems his father killed her and made Luismi believe that she had ran away with another man.

Hi, please check informativo about "Festival Internacional de la Canción de Viña del Mar". It's each February (summer). There are 6 nights of music (national and internacional singers every night). Luis Miguel used to sing at beginning of the night's program. Sometimes he was singing 2 hours. I think his first time in Festival de Viña he was 15 or 16 years old. He doesn't sound well. He sounds out of tune and can't reach the original notes. He was indeed going thru his voice change but perhaps he was also very sick here cause he sounds super bad. I don't know why his fans keep pitching videos where he's not away his best but still praise him.
