"La cigarra" is a traditional mexican song sung by many artist along the years, yeah Linda Rostand sang it at the end of the 80's decade but this song was not originally sung by her, that information is incorrect.

La cigarra Is a very old traditional song. Personally the oldest version of that song I know is by Lola Beltran. Linda Ronstadt did a beautiful rendition though, I love it.
