Maxto M3 Helmet Communicator and Camera Installation

In this video I demonstrate how to install the Maxto M3 helmet communicator and camera into a helmet. It's fairly easy to do but may take some planning and adjustments.
I have been using this camera for 2 years with over 450 hours of recordings while riding an electric unicycle. I've had a few crashes and it has survived. For the price I'm very satisfied with this product even though it has some flaws.

Hi, Did you manage to solve the problem so that the camera is exactly horizontal and records horizontally? Can I adjust the image in the application? because physically positioning the camera exactly horizontally will probably not be possible (perhaps with some modification of the holder).

@@simonwarchol371 I put a wedge behind the camera and that has been working fine for 3 years. The camera quality is not good enough for producing videos so having it perfect isn't an issue for me. I have experimented with FFMPEG scripts to level the video but it's usually not worth the hassle. Most of the video I end up editing is showing a short clip of a fall or incident and it's not important if it is level or if the side of the helmet is in view.

Yes, you're right, I also used something like a wedge that stiffens the camera mounting on the helmet (maybe not the wedge itself, but something like an additional rubber washer). I agree with you, the quality of the camera for recording is not perfect, that's a fact, but like you, it is not a priority for me (although I just thought that with the help of a simple patent can somehow improve the camera positioning). Similarly, "catching" a fragment of the helmet register in the frame cannot be completely eliminated and is not a problem. Either way, thank you for your answer! Have a safe journeys!

@@bottletree33 I have gotten 6-7 hours of video from one charge. 3 years later it may be a bit less but now I like to charge it during a break on a long ride.
