Ugh, the heat finally gets to stick around for a while in Texas. Last week it was comfortable and almost Fall-like. Then August gets near, and Summer finally kicks into gear where we may not see rain for a few weeks now, unless the ridge moves.

We had an ef2 almost 3 destroy half the city in Rome NY on the 16th. And the tornado percentage was only 2% !!! Never underestimate even the smallest percentage 😢

The worse is in winter time and snowfoks and ice is frosen on the roads. 💙In summertime we have mostley Lynnedslag and Torden. And much Fires when the Areas is dry. And flomming over with water after much rain and River s is Big.💙

We got absolutely hammered last night in NW Kansas. Storm came up and wasn't even severe warned or anything. Had golf ball size hail and at least 70mph wind. Broke out windows on the house, broke limbs over the power lines so we lost power, roof on the house and vehicles are toast, destroyed the corn and milo etc. It was absolutely horrific. Then they severe warned it about 15 minutes after it had already passed us 😑

My area is in desperate need for rain. My creek is even dry. I worry about wildlife in my area getting water. I set a horse bucket of water out for the deer and large dog bowls of water for other animals. My yard is a dust bowl.

It's so important for people to set out water when there is none available to wildlife. It takes very little effort, and they so appreciate it. I wonder how many animals die during dry spells from dehydration. We don't think much about that for some reason. I've seen squirrels licking the aluminum roofing on my neighbor's house to get some condensation during dry spells. It certainly can't be good for them.

I just looked at the updated severe weather risk for tornadoes and NOAA just increased the chance of a tornado to 5% concluding that a supercell thunderstorm will develop in the late afternoon somewhere above I-70 in the Wabash Valley.
