The whole purpose of an artist covering someone else's music is to put their spin on it otherwise you can just listen to the original artist's recording. He was part of a tribute and did a good job. In person he's even better with an amazing tone. He doesn't need to be compared to Stevie as no one is like him and he wasn't trying to be like him. I enjoyed it.

I don't agree with you. Maxwell is good, very good but let's face it it's a hard song to sing and nobody can sing it like Stevie so Maxwell has to make allowances, hence the 'extras' as you say. It's not disrespect, it just shows that this is a hard song to sing, especially in under 2 min.. and if you search on youtube for 'Rocket love cover' you will see that no one famous has risked covering it..
