Absolutely my toughest Truck. It is 2yrs old now and still going strong. 💪 No old tires but my favorite tires to run on this thing are the Arrma dBoot LP BACKFLIPS. Bout $35 a pair. Offer great air control and stay glued lol. Thanks for watching 👍

Great vid - sick jumps! Compared to my slightly-modified Hoss, my stock Maxx has very little rotational authority in the air - even less when I slap on the belted tires. Do you think your ESC and battery give your stock motor more juice than the stock Traxxas ESC/batt, therefore you get faster wheel speed (and control in the air)? How did these jumps compare to any you did with non-belted tires? Thank you

Thanks. Answer to your question is no. The hobbywing esc is just more adjustable mostly for the brake and punch. But the punch from the stock esc is a lil better in my testing before I killed the Traxxas one just stopped working after 2 yrs of HARD bashing. So I would say save your money. PRO TIP : Check that your motor wires are not rubbing against each other they will lose there coating and short the motor if they have lost there coating hit them with liquid electrical tape. Best tires for me have been the Dboot 4S LP Backflips from Arrma I love them. I also run whatever the highest speed gearing is I can’t remember what it is anymore been awhile. Those 2 things will have you pulling doubles all day if you have enough space. MAXX is my most durable truck and was my favorite until I bought an X-MAXX it is now by far my favorite basher. Been digging the Rock Crawlers lately they are a lot more fun than I thought they would be. Yes you do lol 😂 This things is Extremely tough. By far my favorite truck for bashing. Also the cheapest truck i own to run. If something breaks it's like $5 instead of like $50+ on my other trucks. 🛻
