@JanoyCresva10 ай бұрын
As someone whos 12 years clean off booze, heroin, and meth( 2 without weed) without a single relapse, i cant tell Johnny is still struggling. Its weird hearing him say weed is who he is and how he's cut back on drinking. If you say you still dabble in stuff it usually means you do more than dabble. Especially when you're trying to talk people into the idea that you're a changed person. Its like when you're selling a used car and its broke down 4 times, you might say it only broke down once and you feel like you're not lying because you told them about the car breaking down. When you're truly actually sober and went down the path Maxx and people like myself went down, you want to scream that shit from the rooftops. I get a sense of PRIDE when i turn down a drink because over half of americans are alcoholics. Im sorry but if you're drinking in the middle of the week, you're an alcoholic. If you need weed or booze just to get by you're an addict. I dont care if you say "I can stop anytime" because the people that say that dont ever do it. If you can stop any time then DO IT. Not until you can deal with the uncomfortable life sends at you without substances and use only your emotions and strength, do you truly feel the pride of being sober. Hopefully johnny and anyone else out there thinking about being the best you challenge yourself to break free of drugs. There is NO WAY your life wont get better when you do. Props to everyone on the panel.

I was worried you weren’t going to speak on semi sober. Appreciate you Brother. Did you you guys know that the word alcohol comes from two Greek words that mean to remove you from your soul. So you can’t be your true self while drinking. Even worse is it takes 30-45 days for alcohol to leave your system, which means for almost all of us we’ve never been sober from alcohol since the first drink. It’s by definition a schedule 1 substance. The alcohol cartels are much stronger than any other cartel, turn on any morning tv show and you’ll be hit with an ad or segment reminding those suffering from alcoholism to hurry up and drink today. As long as you keep moving forward for your health you’ll make it.
