Goddamn, does this look good. I guess the first two did really well critically considering the amount of talent that jumped onto this one. This is how to do a trilogy: three films that are connected, but by no means are just rehashing the first entry. I can't remember the last time I was this jacked for a film.

it’s not on the tape. it was literally her scream; intended to tell the viewers of the trailer that the tape was THE tape from X, and that she was confiding in someone about what took place on the farm.

If you listen to the scream when she puts in the VHS tape that was the scream Jenna Ortega did in X and it was a police evidence tape so it would probably be a tape from the X murders.

I'm quite intrigued on the police tape the killer leaves Maxine in this. Soley because that woman's scream is Jenna Ortega's character in X. Specifically, when she was in the cellar/basement area. I wonder how THAT scene was recorded. Really opens up some theories, even with X. Also, I am aware they put her scream in there just for the trailer, and the actual contents of the tape are probably different. But still. It's pretty interesting imo. Love the trailer overall. Giallo af. Which was done intentionally by Ti West.

The trailer wasn't my favorite, but I'm not ANY less hyped for #MaXXXine. They actually gave away 2 kills in the trailer, but shhh... They showed enough for me to start theorizing like a mofo (which is awesome) Based on Jenna Ortega's scream, I'm guessing the video is the footage the cops found at the end of X.Maybe it captured Maxine pancaking Pearl's head. My theory is Bacon's character is a hallucination and Maxine is fantasizing much of this - a "Hollywood dream" if you will.

@@taydestiny38 I thought X was one of the least original and most cringe "horror" movies, though had zero with horror, I've ever seen + it was boring af...I have absolutely NO IDEA what people enjoyed on it so much. I thought the demand for quality sure dropped a giant. Also Goth along with Ortega and Anya Taylor something, seem to be the most overrated girl trinity in hollywood, I've ever seen. Its nice to see, I'm not alone at least when it comes to this "franchise". But it goes further for me because I actually have a big problem to watch Mia Goth on screen, she looks awful and it is a real pain for me to sit through a movie with her, so I refused to watch Pearl.

This is the flick I been waiting for way to long. Well the last couple of years at least. It looks awesome. Ti West is one of my favorite directors. This trilogy is so different from anything else. Ti & Mia make a damn good creative duo. Can't wait to finally see this flick. It does have an 80's feel to it. When you look at all three movies, It's pretty damn incredible how each one is completely different from each other. But yet it flows perfectly. Fine filmmaking at its best in my opinion. Sorry for writing a freakin book. Another awesome reaction. Keep up the fine work.

I'm not so much into the horror as much as I am to the 1980's aesthetic in this movie. Every entertainment era has its own charm but the 1980's is just explosive compared to the others. And Mia Goth never looked hotter than in this movie.

I did not know the Man In Black is in this lol. Anyways the trailer was pretty good. Love how they bring back the Norman Bates house and it makes sense because they would start filming Psycho 3 at that time and release in 1986. Also love to see Giancarlo Esposito in a movie which he's also going to be in Abigail as well as Maxxxine. I also like the addition of the Night Stalker being in this too and it looks like they are going to do a who done it in this movie. During the trailer it makes it look like shes watching the tape from X. Also CinemaCon is this week so expect a lot of new stuff for movies this week.
