I like how you’re so aggressive on the bedrock. So many dredgers leave the best gold behind because they just go after the smaller rocks and dirt. Great job.

Hello Bill, welcome to my wee channel Arrrrr , thank you kind sir ! . I learned to dredge by watching the best guys on KZbin. I have a saying when I dredge a hole , dredge it and snipe it at the same time . I try to be very diligent and love busting bedrock cracks and crevices , like you say the more aggressively I work , the better the gold . You got to put a shift in underwater and a lot of folks don't ??.stay tuned my new friend because something big is happening. I've managed to get a larger dredge from the USA ,this will make me faster and more effective at recovery of my favourite thing in life ,gold gold gold yehaaaaa .thank you so much for your input buddy,I really appreciate it ☠👍👍👍⛏💙

I agree 100%! I got paid installing tile my whole life by the sqft. So hustling and moving efficient like this is what its all about! Double recovery easy! To this day my 3 inch dredge still has my best clean up. Over my 4 and 5! Great video pirate! Love watching these. Ima be down under water soon enough! We just bought 19 acres of our own gold bearing land!!

Thats sweet. Thanks. I was wondering cause i wanna try gravity dredging. And i was just wondering whats the smallest size hose where i can just keep feeding it. i was thinking 2 n a half or a a 3 inch. Not sure yet.

@billchiles90895 жыл бұрын
contreeman to find gold isn’t that hard. Look for gravel, clay and bedrock. Once on the bedrock, clean it off then hit the cracks and crevices. It’s hard work in the cracks and crevices but inside them will be your best and biggest gold.

That looks like an ancient water fall in the bedrock! Did you get to the whole?
@piratedredger18575 жыл бұрын
Hello my friend and fellow dredger , aye I totally agree with you. I felt sure it was a ancient water fall , ithe bedrock was so smooth . The 3 inch was at it's limit without jamming and it was a hard day's DREDGING, so the next day we got down to 10 ft and had to leave it .when I got back the hole was full again so it's still to be done my friend. I've been in this area before but with a 2 inch and that was a nightmare lol, just cant move enough material I plan to revisit this spot with nessie the 4 and hopefully get down in a shift lol .. That wee creek has a few strange features in it .the gold is patchy butt I'm hoping that the 4 will be a game changer. I liked my 3 but the 4 is my favourite because I can move more material. Cheers for stopping by and giving me your opinion, I really appreciate it,☠🏴👍👍👍⛏💙

Pirate Dredger heck yea my freind! Ide have to see whats down there! Ide keep an eye on the gold see if it was getting better deeper. In my experience the gold is a few feet down river from at the bottom if these holes. Not always right at the base. The water is so clear and beautiful. Nice to see someone know how to move underwater!! 👀 perfect dredging!

Pirate Dredger Thanks for the kind words. I really really appreciate that! Man you could come anytime! Too bad we are far apart... ide love that. Good dredgers are hard to find. Its all about keeping that nozzle moving material and keeping it un jammed! Rock jams are killer and destroy recovery. U do a great job keeping the right rocks out the way! Im mostly self taught. But everything i did learn cane from reading Dave mcrakens gold dredging books. If you havent read them you must buy them right now. It will be the best thing you ever add to your dredging equipment. He has three books. Vol 1 vol2 and the gold dredgers hand book. More then worth the money. Genius dredger. 30 years of tips in those books. Its a must have. Cheers buddy! We want more vids!!!

@@piratedredger1857 Hey pirate, whats your GPH on that pump? Im trying to figure out if I can run a 3" on 3700 GPH :) Also, I've seen allot of bolts on the nozzle tips to stop clogs, do you get clogs ?
@piratedredger18575 жыл бұрын
@@silversrayleigh8980 hello silvers , ok the pump your going to need for a 3 inch is a p 180 ,made by Keene , a trash pump won't do it . I use a 3300 to run a minimax highbanker and that's fine . My new dredge has a much bigger motor and it's about 6.5 hp .the nozzle you have seen was hand made ,I believe it was an old exhaust pipe from a boat lol it has a reduction ring fitted on the front .I don't get many glogs because I can see what I'm doing . Glogs are caused by the operator I'm afraid . If you stick bolt inside the nozzle you will lose suction . The best way to go is to attach a reduction ring on the end of the nozzle , however your free hand is the best goal keeper and I use mine to stop the bigger rocks before they hit the nozzle tip . Hope this helps you out my friend cheers ☠👍👍👍💙⛏
