Hello, I just wanted to share he probably won't cover that topic because it is not biblical. Many Christians I'm sure believe on that topic but Calvary chapel churches only teach from the Bible so I don't think he will cover that. I am sure he would answer your question if you email him. I would love to be able to address "Soul Ties" from a biblical perspective but the problem I run into is there is NOTHING WHATSOEVER in the Bible about it and, to be quite honest, I think it is a potentially dangerous belief system. We are to put our trust entirely in the leading of the Lord and not in a philosophy of man - which is what Soul Ties is. It is human speculation on behavior and emotional connections and, personally, I would stay away from it. God bless you!! -PP

I just wanted to say we have been at a CC in our town for over a yr & have learned so much. Hello Paul. I’m from HK. I’m blessed to be born into a Christian family. I’ve been a Christian all my life and I love listening you your Bible talks. I teach the children Sunday School and find it difficult to explain ‘justification and sanctification’ to the children. How can I explain clearly to them? Thank you!

Hi Linda. It can be challenging to convey biblical ideas to kids - especially something like justification and sanctification. I feel kids relate best to examples taken from their world - things they can readily understand. So, once you have a solid definition of each concept, think of a way of explaining it using child-relatable examples.

I grew up in a very legalistic church,but My Savior led me to the truth that we are saved by grace through faith My mother has passed on and she was a legalist until her dying day and I have two sisters that are legalists and one sister who is an atheist. When Jesus was on earth, He healed people physically. The bible said:" i pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prosper. " So physical health and spiritual health ( soul prosper) go together. Why does pastor Paul said God does not heal physically?. " Pray the Lord o my soul and forget not all His benefits. He heals all your diseases. He forgives all your iniquities. He cover your mouth with good things so that your youth is renewed like an eagle." Hi Ptr Paul & Sue, I've learned so much from you and see God's love in you. I have a question regarding my friend's current relationship. She and her boyfriend are Christians, but despite not being married yet, they are living together. She mentioned that the elders in their church believe it's acceptable as long as they intend to marry, citing Mary & Joseph from the Bible as an example. They believe that in Biblical times, couples living together were considered husband & wife even before formal marriage.
