Oh gosh, ACOSF. Best of luck with that chunky book. I've been putting the series off too, I think its a mix of intimidation and not wanting the series to end haha. Hopefully you can get to your May TBR. Happy reading!

I don't even think it's the size that's intimidating to me. There is just something about it that I am not in the mood to read? Maybe it's because I haven't been truly back in that world since like 2018? I have no idea.

@@RescuesandReads I think the last I read in that series as also either 2018 or 2019 and I feel similar so completely get it. There needs to be a time to just WANT to pick it up, hasn’t happened with me yet though

Hi there. Kinda off topic, but wanted your opinions before I delve in. Have you read all 3 books in The Housemaid series? Is the first one exactly like The Last Mrs Parrish?
@RescuesandReads9 ай бұрын
I have never read The Last Mrs. Parrish so I cannot really comment on that. All I can say is I loved The Housemaid and thinks it's worth the read. People like to say a book "is exactly" like another one when that's not really true. I am sure that even if it's similar to The Last Mrs. Parrish there are significant ways to differentiate the two

I have read about 40 books so far this year...hard to have time to do more than that with work etc..dont know how you find the time....as for reading recommendations I loved Lincoln on the Verge by Ted Widmer Lincolns last trial by Dan Abrams...I love history and will be reading Demon of Unrest by Erik Larson...loving Incredibly Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt and The Magic of Lemon Drop Pie by Rachel Linden. Mercury Rising by JB Aspen...Hester by Laurie Albanese..so many good ones...

@@RescuesandReads I admire how you track and categorize everything you read...wonder if you have tips or tools for those of us less tech savvy to do the same.. create a virtual list of what we have read ..to be read rules for your game if we want to make one for ourselves....it might be fun if you set up a Facebook page and listed cumulatively what your followers are reading liking etc...all I have is the reading challenge on good reads and Amazon keeps a list but they don't always match... between Arc requests...books I have won on good reads botm and two reading groups i am a little overwhelmed..was thinking you might create a spreadsheet we can use for ourselves and maybe on for group cumulative input to share on videos

@@Primadivasm0520 I used the Ultimate Reading Tracker Spreadsheet created by Ali over at Hardback Hoarder. She sells it on Etsy for $5 and it is absolutely worth it as it is the most comprehensive tracker I have found but she has a basic version to that might be more of what you are looking for. My suggestion would be to determine what you hope to track and go from there. I track the books that I read each month, the books I buy/acquire each month and whether I have read them or not, and I also track all of my in progress series and reading challenges that I am doing. I also use Goodreads to track what I am reading at any given point and also use it to keep track of my TBR. Most of the rules for my TBR game can be found in the announcement video I made when I came back to Booktube in 2022. kzbin.info/www/bejne/lZKppo2oj5aejNk
