May 25, 2024 IS ROCKPILES in oahu a fun wave?

Once you get used to the fact that the reef is only 2 feet from you going home with reef rashes it's a totally fun wave to master. Lots of quick corners and some long ones if you are sitting in the right spot. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK IN COMMENTS.

Rockpile is very nice spot, very interesting, eclectic crew there and they know how to fall flat. Beautiful, views, beautiful people, accessible and pleasant vibe in the parking lot.

I grew up surfin mostly Kaisers but on big days would paddle down to Inbetweens and Rockpiles..Rockpiles can be super fun but also sooo shallow! 🤙🏾

In betweens is so fun but so crowded :) - that shallow reef is harsh for sure!
