You have a great show .FYI without prejudice this is my take. With so much unaccounted diseases, it is unsanitary to wear jewelry while cooking. Loose the jewelry from your wrist and fingers.

Hi, I'm watching in PA, I have gotten things like that as well, I think that happens because what ever the company is using to preserve their product is not satisfactory, look at the back of the product there should be a number or an email, you can voice your disappointment to them.
