I love what you did with this goblet. It reminds me a bit of the Weeping Gold style pottery that was popular around Mid-century. Have you seen that style before? I have two vintage Weeping Gold vases in my collection. They are so gorgeous.

I can smell the gold liquid. I used to do ceramics and loved all the specialty glazes and effects. There were the gold and pearl lusters, the “popcorn” and “snow” glazes, the crackle and mottled glazes, the matte, gloss, and under glazes. So much fun. I wish some of those ceramic workshops would come back like they were in the 70’s.

Im a newbie i never knew this was a thing but im pretty sure its the safety concerns glaze and possible liabilities nowadays. Ive heard from a professor that artists would have dust parties back then too because no one realized how dangerous dry material really is until pretty recently :/ its probably not as fun to do this with gloves and a respirator like you’re supposed to, but glazing is a bit more lenient than applying luster

I think goblets would work really well as a desert holder. like a nicely portioned size of trifle, tiramisu, cheescake, strawberries and cream. I prefer the idea of eating from a goblet over drinking.

Ice cream sundaes and fruit parfaits. Transparent goblets are great for anything with pretty layers. Opaque ones like this are fantastic for when only the top of the dish is pretty but you want the whole thing to have an extra element of "wow" to it.

You should do a set of black goblets with gold drip and a set of white with gold drip, maybe even do gold lining the edges of the bottom and maybe some swirls or vine like designs around the base of the neck of the goblet.

I would definitely get some asap!! I would love these for Coffee/hot drinks or mixed alcohol drinks. Could use it for ice cream or refrigerated deserts too like certain pies or cheesecakes, anything chocolate 😊 and if I could have one that's oven safe, I would love to make desert cups in them for me and my husband lol I would definitely do pie cups, brownie cups, cake cups, cobbler cups, all with room for icecream when it's cooled enough lol even baked cheesecake. Hell, at that point I may even do lunch/dinner cups lol it'd be interesting to have lasagna or something like that made in a cup for easier eating and technically less dishes to clean lol use the goblet to cook in, let it cool enough to hold and eat. Might be a stupid idea but I think it would be great for single people or couples that don't have a family yet. Hell it could also be good for families, make a special stand that won't let it fall over if it gets hit or something cause of a clumsy kid lol but yeah, make the dinner in the goblets and serve it in the same thing it was cooked in once it's cooled enough.

I use goblets to hold makeup brushes! I also use a big sculpted mug to hold my paintbrushes in between uses. It doubles as the cup I fill with warm water to clean my brushes while painting. ❤

Umm...hello! Granola with yogurt, vegan nice-cream, chocolate Chai tea, oatmilk matcha and then there's water with lime. My daughter's nickname is princess, and she loves drinking from goblets. We started her out with plastic ones, and now she's 13 and she has a ceramic one and a glass one. If she wants to feel fancy, I'm not gonna kill her vibe, I'm gonna hype her up and support her.
