I really like the song! Good job Maya! But I also really appreciate the video. As with the others, you can see it's pretty low budget, but in a good way. The production and the editing are very creative. You can see it took time to set the stages of each scene, shoot a good video and then find an interesting editing for it. Editing takes a huge amount of time! And being original and talented with it is hard. So kudos to the person(s) who made the video and to you Maya for this really cool song that I'm gonna listen on a loop for the next few days or weeks! 😁

ok ok i might be looking too far into it because i do tend to be over analytical BUT... it starts out with quite neutral tones, but then shifts to green, which makes me think it’s alluding to the feelings she felt through ‘green’, that kind of blind love that she knows isn’t good for her and she is trying to move away from and is somewhat fed up with. we then see her in a room that is intensely pink lit with the green being visible in the doorway, with multiple shots of her moving between the two, a symbol of her possibly trying to move on to whats next but not being able to?? and when she is in the pink area she is crying...possibly suggesting that it’s really difficult for her to move out of that cycle. and then there are more neutral tones which sort of mimick the apricot tones of ‘apricots’, referring to that sort of yearning feeling for someone you love and cant get your mind off, as she catches the train...possibly home? “so i go home”...the lyric from ‘green’... so i’m kind of getting that she is trying to move out of this toxic cycle but can’t??? i feel like i’ve gone WAYYYYYYY too deep but anyways lmao
