May Bank Holiday weekend visiting several Norfolk Broads places, plus the NEWS for 3-10th May 2024

Hi started watching lately as I am a sea sailor, can we not see boats going under Ludham bridge, its fustrating seeing them go off camera as going under the bridge in my thought is the most interesting bit.

Only a couple of weeks ago people were talking and complaining about me in one of the Norfolk Broads Forums, always filming boats going under Ludham Bridge 😂. Boats going under the bridge is all anyone wants to watch …. and why that was what I filmed. I made a whole video about it and their complaints. So now I stop my filming before the bridge. Perhaps you might like to find the forum and their comments and complain to them that I no longer film what you enjoy watching due to their comments 😉

Great to see the various boats on the rivers. I think in today's news the A149 at Potter Heigham will be closed off for road resurfacing etc. Hope it will not affect your travels too much. We have been discovering some new footpaths on our travels this past week and been having fun but it is very warm out there which I do not like! Have a wonderful weekend filming where ever you go.

it looked a very busy bank holiday , & lots of sailies around too , it looked like those two big boats at the begining with all the guys on were having a abit of a struggle getting under the bridge . it did'nt look like the water had gone down much .

The water was at 8ft today. Great news. The Bank Holiday was very busy, it’s wonderful to see.

Fab video Lisa, we returned home Friday after an amazing week. Our only disappointment was not being able to get up to Coltishall, as the bridge pilot said it was too risky. I purposely booked a boat with a low air draft, but the high waters put paid to that. I did a boss piece of mooring in Yarmouth Yacht Station , tide going out at full flow, and strong cross winds. I wish you'd filmed that 😂 Keep up the good work.

I’m pleased you enjoyed this video, thank you. I was out with friends on Tuesday on their hire boat. The Pilot got them under the bridge and we went all the way to Horstead. Turned around and then stopped at Coltishall for lunch. That video will hopefully be posted on Friday. Shame I wasn’t filming at the yacht station for you. 🛥️😀📸 thank you for watching and commenting.
