Hi! Been watching your vids for quite some time now. I really enjoy how effortlessly your hand strokes and yet create those beautiful masterpieces. Also, your choice of colors are perfect! You are really gifted. How blessed you are. Btw, I tried this painting....it took me 4hrs to finish! Lol!

You mention over and over again that your favorite brush is a round (sometimes size 8 and sometimes size 10-depending). I've watched many of your videos including your Art Supply Haul. I am interested specifically in "what brand of brush is your favorite brush" as it does make a difference on the brand of brush. During these time we mainly shop online and cannot actually feel the bristles to make any kind of judgment on how a brush performs. Thank you for your videos. I'm looking forward to your virtual classes.

Hi Allie! Not Brooke but I wanted to chime in that Brooke did a more recent video called: “My Favorite Art Supplies!” Where she includes her favorite brushes. She also includes in her Description Box the link to all her favorite art supplies at Dick Blick: www.dickblick.com/lists/blicku/0PAJAAGKUI33A/publicview/?AID=12117697&PID=100128365&Ref=CJ&source=affiliate&CID=5428670&Publisher=C.+Brooke+Ring&Blick_affiliate=5428670&cjevent=20e4b3e3dc6a11ea821c009f0a24060c Once at her link, when you scroll down the list you will see her favorite brushes listed. I hope this helps! 😊🎨 🖌👍🌸

Hi There! I just want to say. I didn’t get to watch this in it’s entirety. I think you should try teaching on Skillshare. You would be awesome there. I’ve learned so much there and my paintings have skyrocketed. Happy Mother’s day to you.

Just finished my attempt with oils! I may have to go back to doing florals with acrylic....it’s a BIT easier to not muddle all the colors together!!
@CBrookeRing4 жыл бұрын
Agreed! Oils are a great medium but definitely require a little different approach! let me know how your acrylic try goes :)

This was such fun ... I am wondering if you could give any tips on varnishing as the final step? I find it difficult to get it on my canvas without streaks. I’ve heard one should go from side-to-side then up and down ... is there a specific brush that works best? Anyhow! I’ve signed up for three of your classes so far and they bring me joy! Thank you so much!!
@CBrookeRing4 жыл бұрын
Hey Bonnie! Thank you so much for joining us in class! When varnishing definitely try to follow the brush strokes as closely as possible! That should help
@bonniew77364 жыл бұрын
C. Brooke Ring thank you so much!! I so appreciate your response and technique🌷. I actually tried it and it worked well!! So much better than side-to-side!

hey there! thank you so much and thanks for the feedback! We had started this class with a microphone but it was making weird feedback noises so we had to end up unplugging it.. we may have to look into investing in a new microphone as our channel grows! thank you so much for tuning in and happy painting :)

Hi, you said in a previous video about not getting paint on your hands. I’m wondering why because I have an all over me and I have for years am I going to die? Tee her!
@CBrookeRing3 жыл бұрын
Hey there! Oh goodness - I am so sorry for the scare!! You are fine!! I think it is just something good to keep in mind that depending on what brand/type of paint you are using they are made up of chemicals and after long periods of time it could possibly be harmful because they can be absorbed through the skin! Just a thought! :)
