You are just too kind, Lynda!!! I appreciate your kind words, but I am far from being a master gardener. I learn something new from my failures every day. But that’s what makes a garden so much fun. I do have the absolute Best neighbors. They are very supportive, and I share seeds with them every year. Thank you again for your nice message. You always make me smile.😄😄😄Liz

Hi Liz, Thanks for the great tour of your entire garden, plus Lucky! If you look at the single flower of the snap dragon it looks squar-ish, like a dragon's and, of course it snap when you pinch it. And yours look like the quality we ordered in our flower shop. I watched completely and see that you are getting a lot of new subscribers. Good for you 👍 I hope your new job is going well ❤Peggy❤

Hello Jazmin thank you for your sweet message. It's always fun to meet fellow zone 9b gardeners. Honestly I think lily bulbs are the easiest things to grow. Yours in Florida are gonna do GREAT!!!! How fun. And so true about the Kumquat tree. . . . That was the blessing of God for sure. I kid you not. . . while I was praying it was like 30 seconds later I walked by that house. Anyway. . . Im so glad I could help….. now… If you ever ask me about Alliums I could not help you. Honestly I have never been able to grow alliums no matter what I do. The bulbs end up riding in the soil. Even if I don’t water them. I spent so much money on alliums and I have never seen them bloom in my garden. Have you ever grown them in Florida? I would love to hear your experience.

Hi Liz, your gardens are amazing! Love all the colors and textures in your garden. I am obsessed with your roses and luckily found the Rio Samba (barefoot 2 roses shipped free) from Home Depot. Can you make jam or jelly from the cumquats? Thanks for the tour.

Hello Barbara and thank you for the compliment. I am soooo excited that you found Rio Samba!!! WhoooHooo I am so happy to hear that. I can't wait to hear all about it when it blooms for you! I planted a Double Delight this year and it just bloomed!!! I am SO IN LOVE!!! Oh yes you can make jam from the kumquats! (That's what I read anyway) I suppose it would taste something like a marmalade being that there isn a special bitterness to it as well. Very unique fruit that is for sure! Thanks for stopping by! As always,everything looks so beautiful! I didn’t know snapdragons would bloom in the heat. I saw them at the nursery a few days ago but didn’t buy them (even though they looked so pretty) because I thought they would just die in the heat-we are expecting triple digits on Sunday 😢. Also,very cool cars! Thanks for sharing ❤

Hi Ginger Well in my town we get three digits in the summer and they always do very well. Usually when the garden center is selling some thing that means that does good in the area it’s being sold and for that time of year. I’m no expert but I would definitely give it a try because they are so beautiful. Thank you for stopping by.🌸❤️👍🥰 Liz

@GardenHappy Жыл бұрын
Hello Frida that is a great idea and next time I do an art project I will definitely make a point to film it. I used to put a verathane on my art projects, to keep them from fading but what I found is it would eventually dry out, turn it yellow and then peel, so I don’t put anything on my art anymore. Most of my doors are behind trees so they get shaded which really helps. But honestly I have not found any product that doesn’t peel or turn crusty after time. I appreciate you for watching my video I hope you have a beautiful day. 😃😃😃 Liz

I think you are referring to that apricot colored rose. In the video I mentioned that I forgot the name of that one right? Yeah, I cannot figure out the name of that one for the life of me. The red rode before it is Mr. Lincoln. And the rose on the very end is Rio Samba. But I’m sorry I cannot remember the name of that rose you are referring to. 🫤Liz

@@GardenHappy thanks anyway 😊 I am hoping someone will stumble upon this comment and know the answer 🤞🏼
@GardenHappy8 ай бұрын
I bought that rose about six years ago. None of the roses at the nursery even ring a bell with the names today. So it’s possible, because I’m sure that was a grafted Rose, they may not even make that same variety anymore. I will also hope that somebody stumbles upon this and can tell you.❤️👍👍❤️Liz
