I find this hard to explain but I like it when it's more idle humming with no particular song in mind. I feel like if I can recognize the song it's somehow less relaxing. Doesn't make sense, but that's just my experience

It's very interesting to see a lot of people remembering their moms cause of the humming and singing, but for me, it was my grandma. She used to hum and sing to me and my brother when we were babies and there's a VIDEO from early 1988 where she sings to me while I slept in my crib. I will try to find the tape to watch it again.
