Ipsy is more accessible, looks for brands that are good but affordable so clients can repurchase if they wanted to, and boxycharm wants to spoil the clients by giving them products they can't usually afford.

I like Avene. But I think that micellar water isn't as good as bioderma. After cleaning the face it leaves kind of a residue or stickiness. And I'm pretty sure you can't use it for eye demaquillage. I was so disappointed cause it's an affordable product here in Greece but it didn't work for me :(

I agree, avene is great and that micellar water is awesome! Avene is really good for sensitive skin (I have eczema and it's one of the only brands that doesn't irritate me) I love their water spray stuff for travelling

The only thing that I dont like in Ipsy is that some people receive better things and others dont. They should give the same items for everybody, maybe change the colors , etc.

Its not that they choose who gets better things. Its based off your test, based off what they're putting out that month, and based off what they thought would be what you like again according to your test results. I don't think everyone should get the same thing because I wasn't crazy about some things she got.

If you take the quiz more you'll get better stuff. the more you take it the better stuff you get. also the more you review your products the more they find out what you like and what you don't like. I like getting different things especially since my preference isn't as "girly" as everyone else.

it is based on the test u take and u can always change it up. things are different as well in boxycharm. for instance, my ipsy bag came in blue hers is pink. the dual eyeliner in boxycharm I got in green and she got a brown. I think its nice we all get different things, but I understand how u might feel.

love ipsy videos!! i got the same HIKARI product and use it as an eyeshadow quad. the matte bronzy shade is a good transition color and then a shimmery on the lid, quick easy 2 color look, perfect for travel !

+Ashley yes, I've done it once before. I think you just login and go to settings...And there's a button somewhere or other that either says "re-take your quiz" or "change preferences" and then you can go through be whole answer process again!

if you just touch your brush on the bronzer instead of mixing the colors, you can get the bronzy part in your contour area and the other shades in your cheek area, and it looks so beautiful

You should try Sephora play. You get 5 samples plus a perfume sample. I just got my first month and I love it so far. Plus you know you're getting only hight end brands, so it's more bang for your buck.

Usually I get at least 2-3 of the same products as you, but this month the only thing I got that was in your bag was the mascara. I got a glamor dolls #10 eyeshadow brush with whales on the handle, a trio eyeshadow from Pacifica with the shades skinny dip, crush, and lovely, and a tinted chapstick by hibiskiss (such a cute name and its hibiscus flavored) in the shade coral. I liked most of my products this month and loved the bag. I love when I get brushes; I've gotten one for 2 months in a row! my least favorite might be the eyeshadow because the colors are similar to others I have and it doesn't have a matte shade for creating an eye look like I prefer with the one pallette. the skinny dip shade is a nice brow bone highlight though! I previously had the Smashbox full exposure mascara sample and loved it so I was excited about this one and to compare the two. I think so far I am liking the x-rated a little better because it volumizes more. I like my bad most months but sometimes I get products similar to many other things I have and things I might not use. I wish I would have received that lip treatment, it looks nice!

I enjoyed my ipsy bag this month... Really liked the bag mines was purple my favorite color soo that had me excited from the start then getting another brush always excites me cause I love having new brushes to play with. I also got the same bronzer as you and I actually really like it as a highlighter I mix all four together and it gives a really nice highlight with my dark skin tone plus today I literally just used the golden colors as eyeshadow and it looks great... Plus got the smash box mascara as well love the way it makes my lashes look

I'm still fairly new to tipsy. My first three months were sort of rocky and I honed my quiz results some more. I also reviewed each product and the bag as a whole. My bags started getting much better! I loved my may glam bag. I got a Mellow Cosmetic creamy matte lipstick in electro, and IT cosmetics no tug waterproof mini gel eyeliner, an INSPR beauty eye fluff brush (which is amazing!), The Organic Pharmacy Lip Balm, and a Formula 10.0.6 Pores Be Pure Skin Clarifying Mud Mask.

I got the same hikari shimmer bronzer and smashbox mascara which I love! I figured with the shimmer bronzer if I don't mix it all together I can precisely use the shimmer parts as a highlighter because it swatches really nice. I love the smashbox mascara because I have used it before. I also got an eyeshadow trio from pacifica, a cute chapstick that has a mettalic tint to it, and an exfoliating cleanser. I love the chapstick and the cleanser so far. While the eyeshadow trio looked beautiful it just wasn't for me so I traded with a friend who gave me a lipstick she got in her ipsy bag. That's the one thing I love about all my friends subscribing. We always text each other each month and trade items if we need to. I also always write reviews on the products for points and because it says it helps the stylists customize my bags better.

I found your channel through ipsy videos and im still living for them, these are my favorite videos you do as well as boxy charm and I see suggestions saying you should just combine the two which I wouldn't be opposed to! longer video, once a month, if people don't like it it's only one video they don't have to watch

I love these videos! i like seeing what other people get :) I love my IPSY bag, since i've started reviewing more and re-taking the quiz i've gotten better stuff. I get together with a couple of my friends and we trade the things we don't want or won't use. It's fun plus i get to see what they get in their bags. I really like getting a makeup bag every month also. it's nice to throw my things in there and toss it in my purse.

LOVED MY IPSY BAG THIS MONTH! My bag was like yours but purple. I also got the x rated mascara which I'm really enjoying and that blush. The only things I got that were different from yours is a little life palette from Michelle Phan that I absolutely am shocked how pigmented it is and that not many people rave about it. And I also got mud mask that was a pretty good size. I feel like Ipsy has stepped their game up. I have been loving the Ipsy bags I've got in since I started early in the year!

Hi Kathleen!!!! Ipsy bag 😫😳😍 lol... The best things... Hmmm the bag was cute, I got the same pink one...the lip treatment and smashbox. I got an bellapierre lip pencil, and a tiny bronzer from jelly pop... Also a small hair treatment ... My favorite is the smashbox mascara it kinda smells like roses to me... Lip treatment and lip pencil are nice together....
