Marula oil is really great for your hair and face. I buy the acure kind off of amazon for under $15. I have a lot of hair breakage from using too many dimethicone products as it's hard to wash out with a sulfate-free shampoo/co-washing (curly, color-treated hair)

sam johnson mine was actually very pigmented and it didn't streak at all. I didn't wear it on my eye long, but on my hand it didn't smudge at all! I'm sorry you didn't love yours :( felt tip eyeliners are never consistent with the quality

I got the same highlighter, and had the same opinion so I layered it with a cream and that helped a bit! I got a different hair mask, as well as a lip product, Pixi black eyeliner, and cute shadow duo. Really love the lipstick, it's from the brand Caked and is a really lightweight but long lasting liquid mauvey shade. The shadow duo has adorable packaging and the product is super nice! Overall, great month for ipsy!

Last month, I got that same Luxie brush & I've loved it for highlighting. It does the job very well! I also got that highlighter & when I went on the site, everyone was saying they loved so I was being to think I was a bit crazy for disliking it. I got that highlight too and actually really liked it but I think it's because I used it with my morphe highlighting brush.. on the first swipe it was super pigmented and glowy. I didn't really like the brush that came in the bag.. it was a little too thin for me. I like more densely packed brushes. But definitely try out that highlight again w a diff brush!

yes, but it prevents the ends of the hair from damaging, i apply it on purpose so would be nice if i got it in my ipsy. Oh sorry, I live under a rock and there is no chance to get ipsy here :((

I don't mind if it's in makeup because it makes the skin look smoother and at the end of the day you wash it off like the rest of the makeup. But if it is in skincare, and if that skincare it's expensive, instead of making your skin be better it's only making it appear better so it might be a bit of a deception

kateri17 I'll give you an example so you know what Im talking about because you got offtrack. If you buy a primer with dimethicone its going to leave your skin perfect but Its just for the day so its fantastic. If you buy a 40dollar cream that claims that it's going to reduce imperfeccions but instead of reducing imperfections from within with the ingredients it only coats it with dimethicone so it looks better but it doesnt help your skin be actually better, you are paying 40 dollars for a coat of silicone. *That* is what I mean with the plastic surgery thing

I agree with your comment on the highlighter! For ipsy users that got this highlight, I hope you noticed the same thing. When I applied it to my cheek bones and on my brow bone, it looked powdery and dry. I applied the highlight with my finger as well. I got the same brush as you Kathleen and I'll definitely have to use it for highlight next time!

Hi Kathleen! I love you and I love your vids but I wish you would stop doing ipsy bag unbaggings. I just think with your talent you are selling yourself short and that you have the ability to make much better videos than ipsy videos.
