hello sir, i would like to ask regarding question 19. is there any reason for the answer B?

Diffusion, the gases mix and form a mixture but not a compound so a new color isnt formed but since the brown gas has now become less denser and the colorless gas has also mixed with it, the mixture will have a brown appearence but it will not be as brown as it was before.
