Great reviews. And I love the Videodrome t-shirt. I also enjoy the Olly Versus Alex showdown on Flicker. I just added Grey Noise to my buy-this-book list. Sounds fun. A friend once picked up a sidewalk television because it had a built-in VCR and VCRs are hard to come by. It had a tape inside of a homemade recording of a woman tracing her hand on a sheet of paper with a pen and then filling the shape with glue and glitter. Completely harmless but completely weird.

Occultation is quite a name. first 5 star! Well glad you found one that knocked your socks off. Mind Worms is already freaking me out. I saw a similar movie. Crying, oh no.

😂😂I think absolutely every criticism you have of Flicker is fair, and yet I loved it. Thank you for struggling all the way through it though! I have a Laird Barron book that someone sent me a while ago - clearly I need to read it. Grey Noise sounds great too. Have you seen the movie Static? Similar concept by the sound of it but a different outcome.

I thought Flicker sounded pretty bad even when Olly was talking about it 😂Five star story collections are so rare for me, and I give out five stars at the drop of a hat, so Occultation sounds very interesting.
