Once again Colin many thanks for exposing us to such wonderful music from Ralph Vaughan Williams. We are going into the dry season here in Darwin North Australia. Not quite the explosion of green and darling buds of May now being experienced in the British countryside, but RVW music stirs the heart and creates the scene.

Thanks for posting this video. I'm not sure why, but RVW is forever linked in my mind to the month of May. I listen to him incessantly in this month more than any time of the year.

My introduction to RVW was more than 40 years ago with the title music to the TV series "A Family at War". There are probably a dozen or so of his works which have remained firm favourites but you have introduced me to so much I didn't know. I mainly listen whilst working and so don't see as much of your videos as I'd like but your choice of art and scenery beautifully complements the music. From another Australian listener, Colin, my enduring thanks.

I don't see any comments about v William's fantasia on atheme of Tomas Tallis,it's for me a truly magnificent work. It's incredibly moving and spiritual .Any comments on this?

+Bill Wagstaff This isn't really the place for comments on Tallis Fantasia, Bill. I think if you go to one of the many uploads of that great work, you'd find plenty. You'll find one on my channel I think.
