All We Ever Wanted is so good! It definitely has some similar elements as Bear Town! I too cannot believe that it isn't talked about more! Your wrap-ups are my favorite videos because I definitely add the ones that sound good to my "to-read" list!

Yes, Quan is getting a book! The book even has a title, it's called "The Heart Principle". I'm so excited. 😍😍 Like you, even I have loved Quan since "The Kiss Quotient". Btw, I absolutely love watching your videos, because you're always so energetic. ❤️

Hi! I read 17 books this month, yujuuuu! Seven were graphic novels/memoirs, including To Kill a Mockingbird. I would like to recommend “Lighter than My Shadow” by Katie Green. It’s a graphic memoir not too many people know about it but it deserve to be read. My favorite this month was “How Dare the Sun Rise”. My least favorite, “My Brillian Friend” by Elena Ferrante. I’m currently listening Elizabeth Acevedo’s second book, “With the Fire on High”. She is brilliant, as a writter and as a narrator. I can’t wait to read more about her. Happy end of the month!

Quan is getting a book. Book 3. She is writing it. I know because I have been asking Helen H. about it a lot. Love Quan since book one.

Loved Red, White and Royal Blue. One of my favorite books of all time now. With The Fire On High by Elizabeth Acevedo has a really good audiobook too. Much in the same vibe as The Poet X but not in verse format.

I find, in books, cheating doesn't ruin the read for me. It allows me to examine it differently, less emotionally, maybe, than I would irl. Especially if it was happening to me or someone I know and care about. Even though with a good book, I can feel emotionally invested in the story or characters, I can stand back and view the cheating and the characters reasons objectively. And I've even read books where, though I don't necessarily agree with the affair on a whole, I can see why the character was vulnerable to the attention or might have slipped into the feelings and attraction unintentionally, and, in the end, sympathized with the cheater and loved the book. Bottom line, I guess I see cheating the way I see murder. Morally, irl, I find both repugnant, but it isn't something that will stop me from reading or enjoying a book that contains either. Neither is something that ruins a good story for me, and, sometimes, it even enhances the story and makes it better or more interesting. Great eom wrap up.

Really enjoyed this wrap up! You got me curious about All We Ever Wanted and it is now on my TBR :) If you liked Acevedo's book, you should read her most recent one With the Fire on High, the audiobook is also narrated by her and I loved it!

Aww that sucks that The Night Before was so disappointing the premise sounds so intriguing! I’m gonna skip it tho bc I’m also an avid thriller reader. Love you Gab and love the new apartment, so happy for you and your sis!!💕

Jenna Russo I really liked the night before and I actually liked the ending very much, the plot twist gave the book an even more interesting meaning to the story. I read mostly thrillers

I've never read The Poet X, but it reminded me of Long Way Down by Jason Reynolds. Also written in verse, read by the author, it's about 1 1/2 hrs. It's about the cycle of violence. I loved it so much!

In The family upstairs was extremely easy to understand who was talking in every chapter... Almost every chapter started with the characters name. I can't imagine what your difficulties will be with books with far more complexity in its chapters Lol

Emily Giffin also shares too much of her political views on her instagram account and has said several offending things about people in general whose political opinions differ from hers. I think she has ticked a lot of her readers off, even the ones who do agree with her politically, but don't appreciate how she delivers her political opinions. I don't agree with her political views, but I do love her books so I will continue reading regardless. I hadn't heard about the incident involving her husband... yikes.
