I think my biggest issue with Rose and the Dagger was that is seemed kind of all over the place. Some things were rushed (the temple and her lessons) and some things seemed to drag out (the desert camp issues).

I loved Heidi as a child because I grew up with the TV Show. In Germany every kid knows it and it's seriously just so cute. Just about a month ago I found out that the show is actually an anime which confused me a bit because I always thought it was just a "normal" animated series lol

I really enjoyed Me Before You, I think I also gave it 4 stars, but I'm really looking forward to the movie. I still need to read The Rose and the Dagger, and am looking forward to it. Renee's writing seems to just pull me in. I did read The Crown this month though and I really enjoyed it, despite getting spoiled for the ending... grrrr. And I read The Queen of the Tearling and really enjoyed it too, I didn't really find it predicatble, which is rare for me. :) Looks like you read lots for good books this month. I need to get a hold of The Unexpected Everything.. lol it looks like something I would really enjoy.

I loved Heidi. There's a sequel to it, written by Johanna Spyri's translator and if you really liked Heidi then you could check out Heidi Grows Up. Just thought I'd let you know.

What would you recommend me to read if I loved the book Gone Girl and that type of writing like going back and forth and between two characters where once you love the character A but then you love the character B if you know what I'm saying haha :D I have been looking for a book like that forever but I have not had any lunch finding one :/ I thought you might know O:) Thank you!

It isn't as good as The Wrath And The Dawn by any means, but having said that it was really good and I highly enjoyed it. I think you really should continue with the series.

I really disliked the Rose and the Dagger I think people should just read the first one - it's not that big of a cliffhanger at the end, I had my sister just read the first one:)
