Completely working scale model of a Water Ride themed to Maya and a Volcano. The boat moves automatically by moving magnets under the flume. The soundtrack played at the end of the video can actually be heared via built in speakers in the volcano. The boat automatically starts and stops in the station and the model was built from scratch using wood and foamboard. Enjoy!

A log flume without water! Maybe this will finally solve the problem of tearing out water rides a park says is "difficult to maintain". Are they really? Didn't think so.

I didn't like the idea of using water because it would be so messy to set it up and also because the flume would have needed to be waterproof. There wasn't enough space to make a "real" drop so I went with a more shallow one
