I feel like Maya is so underrated. I almost cried in this episode. Maya sacrifices everything for her friends. She does everything possible, even if it hurts her, so Riley can be happy! How can someone not see that? It's so stupid to say that Maya became Riley. Did Maya become Riley? No! Maya matured, she feel in love and she started caring. She started caring about school and she starting becoming happy. Honestly I was so pissed at Riley in this episode. Is Riley the only one who can be happy?! Honestly I don't think Lucas picked Riley. I think Maya backed off, cause that's what she does. She does everything so the people she loves can be happy. Who can honestly believe the reason Maya liked Lucas was "because she wanted to protect Riley" and all that crap? I think Maya didn't change. Instead she just started to show who she was in the inside. What hurt me the most was when Riley said to "fix her" Maya isn't a toy. She's the same Maya she's always been: kind, caring and fierce. Sometimes I feel like Riley doesn't deserve Maya as a friend. She hurts Maya so much and she doesn't even realize it. Maya's strong. She's beautiful and bold. And she's fierce. Regardless of the clothes she wears or the grades she gets, she's the same girl. The same Maya who cares WAY too much for her friends, so much that it hurts her. Sometimes I really wish I had a friend like Maya. A friend that would go out of their way to make me happy. Riley doesn't know how lucky she is. Riley doesn't deserve Maya. I was so disappointed in Lucas over the ski lodge thing. But honestly, I feel like he hurt her a lot too. Maya honestly need ps a person that will not judge her and that will make her happy. I don't care if she's with Lucas or with Josh or with any other guy. I just want her to be happy cause she deserves it.

Maya deserves better. She is the kind of bestie that we all need. I felt so relatable to her. I felt that Riley was never as good of a friend as Maya was. Riley had everything bcoz she was the main character. Sometimes I just feel that I love side characters more bcoz they are so relatable. The main characters are so perfect that sometimes it seems that they are flawless which is sorta impossible we all have some flaws and it makes us unique and beautiful in our own way.

Everytime I watch this, I think of where every time it goes grey, she looses hope or doesn’t have any, and when it comes back from grey to color she gains hope in it again. This is really heartbreaking because if I’m right, she lost hope with josh and Lucas when Lucas pulled away from her, but it’s reassuring to know there is some color/hope within her..
