There is not way of denying. I think if the series could have more season they would made a change again to put Maya and Lucas together as it happened in Boy Meets World. There is a number os parallels that show this. I mean the writers are more intelligente than that. I guess they had hope to continue the season and eventually it would be lucas and Maya. It makes no sense for him to be with riley and I am seeing the series again and there is just no sense.
