It makes no sense how right sided people are so offended at gay characters, when straight characters are present all the time. It’s pride month, if she’s gay great if not great, leave us gays alone it was never a choice it’s normal in life and y’all have problems thinking that gay characters are pushing an agenda meanwhile it’s a sexuality just like being straight, which is always represented. Y’all need lives.

No.. And who would want to be around people they're jealous of anyway? It would normally be they'd want to get away from the people they're jealous of. And talking about 'touching each other' and being 'close to each other' about a kid's movie (supposedly) makes no sense in reality.
@vecmendes7 ай бұрын
Jealousy is no all in or all out emotion. It can manifest in many levels, and sometimes when you like someone's personality a lot, you may want to be closer to them, so that you get exposed more often to it. In the first movie we were shown that even the supposedly negative emotions (disgust, anger) aren't necessarily bad or ill-intended. Same applies here. As to what you said about touch and being close in a kids movie, I dont see why that's a problem. Kids can cherish physical contact too, kids have feelings and they have a sexuality. We all went through it or are going through it. Repressing it only turns you into a confused adult.

It may be just me, but her comments sound very strange. Like, I wonder if hetero women would have the same response on this as she does. From what I've heard from hetero women, the biggest heartbreaks are from romantic relationships with men. Not friendships with women. But, non hetero women who are into both sexes, tend to have their biggest heartbreaks be in the way Maya says. Also, her point that she thinks it could be true for young men if they weren't socialized to be afraid to touch each other. I wonder how a non hetero woman who's only attracted to women, would feel if she was told that life could be better if they weren't afraid to let men touch them. Just seems like a bizarre response.
