Hi, good video! I tried a bit of this denoiser with some sequences, and it's really effective for speed renderings. However, I found a lot of "wave" data that looks awful. I don't know how it can compete with unreal. Did you find some methods of removing this effect and obtaining a nice sequence with low rendering time through the denoiser?

I think for the Noice denoiser you need to select more than one AOVs in order for it to work better. Oidn is Intel's denoiser and can run on CPUs. Optix was updated to 7.3 and can do temporal denoising meant for improving image sequence denoise quality. (However, I don't believe 7.3 was integrated to Arnold 7 though I think it should be coming to Cycles X in Blender 3).

helloo can i ask. when i try to render it in arnold , mine doesnt have the "post" , it has , " display" and "pixel" only huhuhuhu

Same for me. I restarted Maya and it suddenly appeared.

What IU got form this is that OptiX denoiser is still the best... But I heard it's only meant for IPR look development and not for final outputs. I heard that OIDIN is like OptiX but using the processor. And that the best denoiser to use is the Arnold denoiser (noice). But from what I see in the IPR in your video (I also tried it for JPG outputs) is that it's a bad denoiser. Is it bad? Maybe it works better on .exr files?
