They're trying to joke around and have some fun but they're pretty stiff here. Andy and Seth are buddies, they're very comfortable joking around. Also when it comes to writing comedy - Seth is more proficient - which means he's more funny in general when he's ad libbing.

And it is a nice break from the news of the day. my brother and I woke up the family with AC/DC hells bells on Christmas morning one day. We were in 6 & 7th grade had no idea it was not a good idea. I would love to be Andy's daughter so I could prank him daily.

It's a well produced, generally good show. Some segments are fun. The show doesn't have a charismatic and humorous person like Conan but things gel and it works for the major population. I guess that's why Conan's show doesn't get ratings as high as he can get a little more niche with his show and remotes. The Jimmy's just work, I personally never watch unless it's the wheel or mean tweet clips.
