I love how quickly she responded “my nanny” & her comments about her. Amy Poehler did the same thing at an awards dinner when her kids were younger. Their careers would not have been the same without those women loving & caring for their children while they worked, and it’s so important to acknowledge how important that role is & those caretakers are.

It’s great to see Myra succeed after she was very young to lose her mom, Minnie, one of my all time favorite singers. I am surprised she would subject herself to this kind of interview questionnaire which seems mostly geared towards people with big egos who try to cover up on camera . Vanity Fair tries to be like the old Playboys which used to have great interviews, an interviewers, and which was far more interesting and more real. Just sayin ´....

1. What is your idea of perfect happiness? Answer: What is the other words for happiness? oh right. Contentment.
@ffreshfields52112 жыл бұрын
Her answer is a solid answer with thought behind it, seeing these two words mean different things. Contentment hints towards having found calm, a sense of peace, knowing how to be okay with reality or being able to find acceptance in multiple situations, which takes a lot of personal growth. Happiness can be a much bigger, explosive feeling that can happen to anyone no matter their age or amount of experiences, but at the same time is often more circumstancial or momental. Many people can be happy at times in their life, but few people find contentment, which is longer lasting.
