Do you know if freshman can bring their cars on campus?

I believe you need 54 credits to be eligible to apply for a parking permit

What major are you? I'm apart of the school of business and we have technology requirements, so I would start by seeing if your school has requirements/suggestions in place that can help you. Over to you, Maya....🙃🚶🏾♀️😇

@@daniellelivingston430 I'm majoring in pharmacy studies (i don't think there are any specific requirements for us, which honestly makes it more difficult to figure out a laptop lol)

@@lizzienonamaker4864 ughh, yes that does make it more difficult...around this time stores like best buy have lots of sales for college students. So maybe start by looking at those instead. I would recommend getting something lightweight with a long battery life. If you see yourself taking notes on your laptop, think about if you would prefer to type or write them on there (i.e. look for a tablet-laptop if you want the ability to write on your screen). Of course you have the choice between Windows and Mac processors...I honestly think that just comes down to your preference. You can find great laptops in either category. The only other thing I can say is to invest in a good laptop if you're able to (Longevity > $$). Look for something that will last you for the duration of and even beyond your college years even though it may cost a little more. If you know anyone currently in Pharm, get their thoughts too...hope this helps!

Thanks Danielle for answering this :) I definitely agree that it completely comes down to preference. In my next Q&A, I'll talk a little more about it and talk about what computer I have and my experience with it so far.

Do you know if residential advisors could help students lift their beds or do they have to do that by themselves?
@MayaAcker3 жыл бұрын
I’m not entirely sure but everyone is super friendly and helpful so they probably wouldn’t mind lending a hand

How many teacher recommendations do you need for the honors program and how long was your essay. Also, what is the difference between the Storrs and the regional campuses? Are they the same or is Storrs better?
@MayaAcker3 жыл бұрын
Hi! I applied to the honors program when I applied to uconn so I never filled out an application with teacher recommendations or an essay. I think the rule was if you applied to uconn by Dec 1, you were automatically also considered for the honors program. Definitely check out the honors program website and application for more info on the recommendations and essay

I’m not too knowledgeable on the different campuses. I know some campus are better suited for certain majors due to their location. An example is marine sciences majors usually end up transferring to Avery point

Hi Maya, can we request single room for Incoming freshman honor program?
@MayaAcker3 жыл бұрын
You can definitely change the room rate to a single which means the highest you’re willing to pay is a single room. However I think it’s mostly random after that because there aren’t many singles in each dorm. If you really need a single for a specific reason, definitely reach out to reslife or check out their website
