A little tip: whenever you work with acrylic or silicone, prepare a glass of water with a few drops of dishwashing liquid. After applying the acrylic or silicone, dip your finger in the water and smooth the lines.

This is true. The " slick soapy water" on your finger will keep you from dragging the caulk out and you can smooth it with your finger. If you keep your finger wet enough you can even shape and mould caulking.

27:49 paint the side of the tub, grout next to the wall, that same color black as the sink. The white caulk is to white, if that makes since. It will make it look more seamless if painted black. Love your hard work and sharing with us.
