the reason why i enjoy the japanese foods was becaus4 my digestive system has been compromised and was told by the doc to keep foods simple and easy to digest with, that is why i enjoy rice balls for lunch requested by my dietician, still love them

Not only balanced, healthy but also super cute looking breakfast! I would only add thin layer of butter on those bread slices for sandwich since bread tend to get dry and thus not very tasty very fast, especially white ones...

I wanted to ask where did you learn how to cut shapes of nori like at the end to make the nose and mouth for the bear?? that really blew me away. im struggling on how to cut nori and make shapes. i just recently bought a mold cutter, but i want to use scissors to make shapes to ! any tips or where i can learn how to do that? it was really cool how you folded the nori in half and made the cut from there

@@mikeyaction hello, thank you for your encouraging comment 😊 to be honest I loved crafting since I was a kid and maybe that’s why the cutting part is not as hard for me. But I’m sure you’ll get better as you do more bento boxes, for now a mold cutter is great too! you can also shape the basics using the cutter and make more details using scissors. Good luck, I’m sure the bento box you make will come out great! 😊

@ yes these kind of bento do required more time, but once you’re used to it, it would be much faster. sometimes i precut the nori earlier too and put it in an airtight box to safe time when making the bento 😊

great video! in america we put the egg mixture into a shallow dish so its easy to dip the bread into it. if you dont want to get another dish dirty, your bowl technique works well too

Well we cannot guarantee that all the decorations stay put, especially the nori.. Sometimes I’ll put jam below the deco for breads so that it’ll stick better, for rice but my tips is to fill the food almost full so the food won’t budge much during transport. And for the bento picks it won’t shift, so if you want the bento to be exactly like when it’s made, just use the picks without all the small decos. Good luck! 🥰

@@mar_dsign thank you 🫶🏻 for the rice balls please use newly cooked rice since it will stick better. I send all the lunchbox warm, but it will be room temp once eaten since it’s not warmed at school. I use a lunchbag only with no icepack / warmer 😊 hope this helps!

In Germany we give our kids a bread, an uncutted apple and when I have time I cut some veggies 😂😂

I know that Germans are simple when it comes to preparing breakfast since I lived there for 1 year 😊 Meals in general are very cultural so it may differs a lot per country, just do what suits you and your family and I think it’s all good 😁
