Why always compare singers like that? I like Simone's vocals, she has an angelic voice, not the most powerful, but very pretty. And comparing a mezzo-soprano with two sopranos, and even a girl that just took 1 year of classical singing to professional lyrical singers and people that studied for several years is a bit... weird I think. I don't understand why people bash singers because this or that, even though they can't do the same thing, or because they're jealous or whatnot (not saying it's the case of the people that commented that way, but it's possible). This live was awesome, and that's it! :D

One of the things I like best about metal is that it isn't homogeneous. Different styles different approaches, different sounds. That goes for singers. You can listen to all the pop talent shows if if you want eh same approach to singing. IMHO different is fantastic. Open your minds an embrace the universe. Don't find one diamond and through out the emrealds, rubies, saphires and a myriad of other gems.

obvio que Laura tiene una técnica mejor, ella SI es cantante profesional de ópera, creo que de hecho ahorita está en una, o al menos hace unos meses vi una foto de ella con el vestuario y Mark visitándola en backstage, Laura Macri canta estupendo!

da igual lo mas hilarante de la humandidad es creer que sabe la verdad absoluta, la musica es un arte disfrutarla es algo hermoso si te gusta o no ese es tu problema, ademas el mensaje que dan EPICA y MAYAN son sencillamente impactantes, esto es metal y no opera hablar de tecnicismos es muy complicado, el desgaste que lleva una banda de metal no se compara con la musica clasica son mundos distintos pero ambos son hermosos.

Como laura aguanta que mark y simone coqueteen delante de ella y ella se quede como china mirando ? Simone parece la amante o la cuñada mala o la suegra, la hermana de mi esposo es asi, trata de acapararlo y yo me quedo mirando como cero a la izquierda, ella intenta que él me ignore y sólo la mire a ella, jajajaja ahorita que vi a laura me acordé de mi 😂

bueno habló sobre el sonido y le respondí sobre eso y estoy mas que segura que el arte de la música es hermoso tanto al momento de escuchar el resultado y mas aun el deleite de hacer música. hablando del desgaste si tienes técnica asi cantes 8 horas diarias no te desgastas la voz. y hablando de mensajes.. a pesar de tener buenas letras esta banda ha perdido convicción pero esta bien para oír un rato ...da igual.

Laura is a lyric soprano so her voice is not so suitable for this song... A dramatic soprano like Floor is the best for this song.

Her voice is satiated and deep but not so emotional and she can hit really high notes so it makes her a dramatic soprano.

Dursun Nar Floors voice is not that powerful enough to have a dramatic voice, her timbre is not cold or metallic, if we took the mic out would Floor be able to amplify her voice so we can hear her or what?

As much as I adore Simone Simons for virtually all that makes her - her looks, her personality, her voice, I have to admit that, sadly, her vocal delivery live is nothing comparing to the studio recordings. She always seems sick, or out of it. Floor and Laura outsing her easily even while running and fooling around on stage ;) Now might I get bashed, but keep in mind that I have a crush on Smoony, I adore Epica, and I will listen to them regardless of circumstances ;)

Love the performance. Good thing that Laura joined Simone in the very high parts of Follow in the Cry. I love Simone a lot, but I know that, that part of the song is out of her vocal range. Great performance though, from everyone on that stage!

simone tiene el registro vocal de mezzo soprano pero no es cantante lírico. ademas el rango vocal de soprano o mezzo soprano, tenor, baritono los tienen todos los seres humanos cantantes o no! ella no es cantante lírico por eso su falsete y su pésima técnica ha hecho que su voz se desgaste. por otro lado la tesitura de las voces no tiene nada que ver con la potencia y calidad.
